Website Wednesday

Today over at the Facebook page I am sharing some of the Homesteader pages that we follow here.  I aim to live my life as frugally and simply as I can.  Too many things get in the way of enjoying life!  I have found that when I find myself more ways to live simply I enjoy my days and feel more fulfilled in my life.

Click here for The Prairie Homestead Facebook page and HERE for their website!  They also have a Pinterest page that I follow all the time, there are so many great ideas.  Click on their picture below to go to their blog and learn something new!

Another page that I follow is some who lives in my area.  I love having someone who knows the area and the what it is like to live in our beautiful Black Hills!  Little House Living is also where I go to get all my mix recipes.  I have been trying to eliminate boxed meals and make everything myself.  I have noticed my kids, as well as my husband and I don't get sick as often.  HERE is the Facebook page, HERE is the website.  Click on their picture below to see what recipes I have found!  The kids love the Hamburger Helper recipes.  It is a Cheeseburger recipe, but sometimes I leave the cheese out, change up the meats an

I have a dream to be a chicken and duck owner.  I have had budgies since 2010 and love having them to watch and listen to.  My grandparents had chickens when I was little.  I loved going into the little red and white building that had all the furry yellow babies.  When I was older my Mom had chickens for laying and butchering.  I think I actually volunteered to go get the eggs, I probably shocked her with that offer! If you are like me then you need to go check out The Chicken Chick at Egg Carton Labels by ADozenGirlz!  HERE is their Facebook Page,  HERE is their website HERE is their Pinterest!  They have giveaways all the time that could help you run or start your own coop!

Homestead Revival is another great website!  HERE is the website and HERE is the Facebook page!  I will always picture both of my grandmas in their kitchens with aprons on!  I see all the ladies in the church kitchen pulling their aprons from their purses and planning where to start with the meal.

Homestead Revival: Aprons . . . I love their quote "a country girl at heart cares little about shoes and a lot about aprons" . . . what a lovely selection!
