Sorry about pictures I was in a hurry to get it packaged up and out the door! This is for my friends granddaughter Princess Aria (3yrs).

I crocheted her a cute little scarf in sparkly pink!
Every Princess needs a chocolate snack right?

Vintage cans

So the blogs from now on will only be when I am doing a new project. I spent all week trying to find my work bench and organize the supplies my mom donated. While taking a break and cruising Pinterest I was reminded of these vintage tins that I had saved. I had found 4-5 different versions and ways to make them. I, as always, combined several of them to make it work

My mom found this old book at a thrift store.

First, I picked out the pictures I wanted to use.

Then I painted my cans. Some colors took a lot of coats. Let then dry really well between coats!

If you have any sharp edges, just use a pliers to flatten it out.

After the first coats.
I didn't get a picture of me gluing them on.
I also used chalk pastels to age them, but you could also use brown shoe polish!
Here they are finished. I just need to buy a clear sealer to put over them!

Christmas fun dip

My son (13) will be the guest blogger today! He created Christmas fun dip so it is only right he share it with you.

Hi I'm the Teenager. I am 13 and in 8th grade. Today at school we got candygrams from the student council.

It had a package of hot cocoa and a candy cane. I like fun dip and it made me think of that. So, I thought of the candy cane and if I licked it the cocoa would stick to it.

It tasted like hot cocoa but with a mintiness.

Try it you'll like it!

Tacky Christmas

My neighbor is having a Tacky Christmas Taco Party this week. We had something else happening so I didn't plan anything.  Then as always with military families--plans changed. So now I'm looking for 4 Tacky sweaters, 3 of which I have to convince my guys to wear. I got some inspiration on the internet and thought I'd share. There are no links just pictures...

Cross Stitchers! (Adult Language)

For my cross stitchers out there, I thought I would share a couple links to cross stitch patterns I have seen on the internet.

I love the cross stitchings that state it just like it is.  So I am warning you that these free patterns have adult language.  Click the pictures to go to the links!

If you are not a cross stitcher or just don't have the time, there are a ton of these for sale on Etsy!

This page has 17 different ones!  Some have vulgar language, but the majority don't.
