Today is another beautiful day in the Black Hills and I had and amazing day with a friend yesterday! We discovered some great little shops downtown that we didn't even know were there! I have so many great ideas floating through my head that I am going to have to get them on paper before I forget!
Onto our Tea Party!! I thought today we could cover the basic needs of a tea party! The favor, the invite, the food and the decor! As always, unless noted the pictures are not mine and I don't work for any company that may be listed!
First we have to invite our guests! Head over to
Lady Lullabuy's Blog for a great Tea Cup inspired invite! Isn't this just too cute! You could easily change the color and style of the cup to fit your party!
Now we need a favor, we can't let our guest go home empty handed! Head over to
Pinterest to see a cute way to send tea bags home with your guests! There are no directions to this project, but it looks like you could take one of your teabags apart and trace it onto the paper of your choice, it just might work! Sorry the picture is so large, but I wanted you to see the details!
Now we need something to feed our guest! Head over to
Mrs. Fields and see the great ideas for a "kicked-up" Tea Party! It includes cream cheese stuffed cucumbers and white chocolate and blueberry brownies, YUMMMM!
The last thing is decor, but it is probably one of the first things we get started on for a tea party (after all the ideas of course)! Those of you who know me know that I lean more towards the Mad Hatter style of Tea Parties. Some day I will have one of my own (for that story you have to visit the Facebook page this evening;)!
